I’ve Got News!

I’ve Got News!

There’s been so much going on here at the House of Weeds that I haven’t gotten a chance to talk about. I’ve barely had time to catch my breath. Here’s a quick catch-up of the major things. First, I have a collection of holiday stories

The Cool Crispness of Fall is Here!

The Cool Crispness of Fall is Here!

I hope the turning of the seasons is treating you kindly. Up here in the PNW, I’m in my usual headspace for this time of year. Weary of hauling hoses around, so I want some rain but also not looking forward to the darkness of

Happy Solstice!

Happy Solstice!

Up here in the rainy northwest, I’m sitting in the darkness of winter. Especially today. It’s been dripping steadily since I woke this morning and not expected to stop until sometime tonight. Which means local areas have river flood watches and mud slide alerts on.

Adventure!

It’s been a busy month in my attempt to do all the things. I’m trying to put most of the garden to bed for the winter. As I begin moving plants around to new spots. And weed beds still smothered in weeds, so that I
