Hey there, I’m still here working on my stories for the Clarion West Write-a-thon – clarionwest.org/writeathon – It’s week four out of six and I’m on track with story number four. So far I’ve written two contemporary fantasies and a science fiction story. This week I’m working on a humorous murder mystery and having a blast.
I got the two contemporary fantasies back from my first readers and am in the process of cleaning them up, formatting, writing publicity and doing covers. I’ll post here once I get them up on Amazon, B&N, istore, Smashwords, Kobo, etc. And it’s not to late to sponsor me for the write-a-thon. If you do, I’ll send you the stories for free! Support their scholarship fund! We all want new books to read by new writers!
I have no pithy comments today – they’re all going into my story. I’m writing out in the garden today and am simply amazed by the variety of weeds I’ve got growing. And the amount. It’s truly astonishing. I’m willing to let them be though, because the alternative would be no writing. Wish I didn’t have to make that choice, but that’s the way things roll around here. Not enough time to do everything I want or even need to do.
Well, I’m off to work on the story and then water, water and water again. Leaving you with a picture of some of the waterlilies in our pond. Summer, loving it!
