I’m insanely busy writing a slew of short stories for a promotion. I’ll post about that when I have more details and links. And I’m busy getting all my novels into print! Yay. And watering, cause it’s August and there’s no rain here in August and September.
Faerie Contact, the second book in The Bones of the Earth Series will be out later this week. I’ll put links up when I have them, but I realized it’s been a while since I’ve been here and I didn’t want you all to think I died. Or vamoosed to Tahiti never to return. Or perhaps Saturn.
At least two of the short stories I’m writing are Bibi stories. Hi Hali, thanks for the inspiration! It’s a mixed bag so far. I’m trying to learn to write stories that are 3,000 words or less, since that’s what editors, and apparently readers love the most. It’s a hard learning curve for me, but so far my brain’s wrapping itself around this challenge.
I’ve been doing a lot of events this summer, going out and meeting people and selling books. The next one is Saturday, in Leavenworth, WA., A Book for All Seasons. I’ll be there with three other writers. If you’re in the area, stop by and say hello!
Well, I need to run. Books to format, covers to fix. Hope you’re having a lovely summer!
