A Quick Word!

Mahonia 'Arthur Menzies'
Mahonia ‘Arthur Menzies’

Hi! Just dropping in to say I’ve been rearranging the furniture here. While I’m writing my brains out. I’m doing nanowrimo for November (with the rest of the world) and in December too (just cause I’m a masochist).

No really. I am. Because I’m writing a Fantasy series and I want to publish the books one right after the other. I’m not sure how many books are in this series, because it’s not planned out. What would be the fun of that? So, I don’t know how many more months I’ll be pushing like this. We’ll just have to wait and see.

Anyway, there’s new fiction up. I put up the first Bibi’s Bargain Boutique story. Please ignore the awful cover. Redoing it (and a couple dozen other covers) is on my to do list. But writing has to come first. If you like the story, there’s a whole collection of them!

Also, please consider signing up for my newsletter. Free fiction, perhaps some cool photos. I might even put in some secret recipes. Who knows what will strike my fancy in the future?

Hope you’re doing well and enjoying the change of seasons. The photo above was taken on my walk this morning. I counted twenty-seven types of flowers still in bloom. I only counted the Hydrangeas and Fuchsias once. Honest. The Mahonias are making the hummingbirds who winter over very happy. They don’t usually bloom for another couple of months, so they’re early this year.
